HOME INSPECTOR

Sean Greenlief

The first 13 years of my career started in the public sector, the majority of which as a Code Inspector here in the Valley. I have developed a comprehensive understanding of building safety and regulatory compliance within the local area. My expertise is built on a solid foundation of professional experience and in-depth knowledge of codes and building and workmanship standards. I am committed to ensuring that buildings adhere to safety standards and regulations, contributing to a safer environment for all.

While dedicated to my professional role, I also value a balanced lifestyle. I enjoy outdoor activities like motorcycling and camping, taking advantage of Arizona’s diverse landscape. Above all, I prioritize my family, maintaining a harmonious balance between my career and personal life as a husband and father.

HOME INSPECTOR, DIRECTOR OF TRAINING

Jonathan Hall

Hi, I’m Jon. I’ve been married for over 15 years and am the father of two crazy boys – living in my hometown of Camp Verde. All of Arizona is beautiful, but I really love the Verde Valley, Flagstaff, Prescott area the most… no matter what time of year it is, you can always find somewhere in that mix where the weather is nearly perfect. I enjoy being outside hiking, at a local swim hole, or even just mowing the lawn as much as I enjoy hanging out in the house with my family, watching a movie or playing video games.
Professionally, I worked for a while as a Retail Store Manager for a really awesome golf clothing company and really enjoyed the customer service aspect of my job. My professional life took a big turn when I finally got hired to my dream job as a Firefighter, where I really got to build on my passion for safety, building construction, and driving really big trucks. After a family tragedy spurred a transition out of that dream, I looked for another way I could serve my neighbors and community with my passions.
Building construction seemed obvious, so I became certified by InterNACHI as a home inspector through ICTA and then onboarded with Protect Property Inspections. From there, I really wanted to learn everything I could about this more technical side of building construction so I was able to provide the most comprehensive service possible to my Clients. I’m certified in several different ancillary services like sewer scoping, mold inspection, water sampling, certifying the foundations of manufactured homes, and am always looking for a new class to take. The culture at PPI is to always be a life-long learner, so I also wear the hat of the Training Director. One of the fun parts of my job is seeing my coworkers get excited about the different ways we come up with to always continue to master our craft, alongside making sure all of our inspectors get all the support they need as they continue to train to exceed the high standards PPI is setting for the residential and commercial property inspection industry in Arizona.
When inspecting, I really enjoy giving great service and a valuable product to our Clients. Having bought a resale home and had new construction homes built for my family, I understand the importance of this process and I work diligently to deliver the most thorough report possible so my Clients can make the most informed choices when they’re evaluating one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. I feel really lucky to work with Protect Property Inspections, where I get to watch the entire team consistently deliver our Clients the great service and value they deserve.

RESIDENTIAL HOME INSPECTOR

Ben Duta

Born and raised in Chicago, I carry a midwestern warmth, but a tough backbone to get things done and do it right.  I love learning and operate as a sponge for new knowledge. Working for PPI allows me to show-off that strength knowing I have industry-leading support.

Prior to being a home inspector, I was a realtor.  I value that experience as it allows me to see a home through the buyers viewpoint, guiding them through the nuances of a home.

In my down time, I enjoy the outdoors.  Nothing clears the mind more than sounds of nature along with scenic views.  This is what brought my husband and I to Arizona. We fell in love with the state several years ago, after visiting my sister several times, who has also moved here from Chicago.  Many people are not as lucky as I am to live in such a stunning state and have loved ones along for the ride.
